Cast your nets to this gastronomical treat and have a whale of a time with Fish& Co.!

In line to their Fish Around the World Platter, Fish & Co, in cooperation with Yehey.com, had a bloggers’ event called Prep Up the Fish & Co. Platter. We were grouped into Teams of 4 and we were challenged to squeeze our creative juices in uniquely food plating the four flavors of Fish & Co. Fish Around the World Platter namely Malaysian, Philadelphia, Japanese and Indian.
Each group was given Php 500 each to but the ingredients needed for our food plating. Take note, most of us were wearing a sash and we need to run to the grocery, imagine the look of the shoppers around us.
After we bought all of the ingredients we need, we headed back to Fish & Co to start to food plate our respective Around the World Platter comprising of Fish & Co. Fish and Chips. After 30 minutes, here are the results:
In the end, only one group will take home the crown (we felt we were in Ms. Universe Pageant that time)., and that is the Philadelphia Team. They are the first place for the Fish and Co. Food Plating event.
After the contest, we had a feast of fish-tacular dishes.
So after all, we are all winners.
Though we didn’t win, we enjoyed the International Fish & Chips platter. Thanks Fish & Co. and Yehey.com.

Here in Fish & Co., the food is good and fresh, as expected, and it’s so fresh, it’s served straight up in a pan! Fish & Co. took this cue from the simple practices of Mediterranean fishermen who caught seafood fresh and cooked them immediately in the pan, and made it their own. Favorites are Mussels, Calamari, and Fish and Chips, Seafood Platters and a specialty menu of their own home creation drinks and desserts.
This is not your usual fish and chips that tastes vaguely of breadcrumbs soaked in oil that could have fish in it somewhere. Using only the freshest fish and seafood, as well as natural ingredients like olive oil, herbs and various spices; Fish & Co. pans out great tasting meals in generous portions, all the better to feed you with. At Fish & Co., all seafood is prepared in a simple straightforward manner, letting the ingredients speak for themselves, while served up in their own fishy flair.
A FISHY TALE
It all began in 1998… the first Fish & Co. restaurant was opened at Plaza Singapura, Singapore. It was during the most challenging of times at the peak of the Asian and regional economic crisis. Recognizing a niche for a mid- level casual dining restaurant specializing in fish and seafood, the owners took the bold move in starting the business.
Visited by shoals of people, the first Fish & Co. was well received and well liked by all who visited. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, the second Fish & Co. was opened at Suntec City mall barely a year later.
There after, Fish & Co. has seen an aggressive and impressive growth and development trend. Within the first five years of operation, the restaurant has already made a strong presence in the Singapore market and anchored beyond the local shores into Malaysia, Middle East, Australia, Indonesia and is still foraying into many different parts of the world.
With the very same passion, that started the first ever Fish & Co., the owners have in their vision to bring Fish & Co. to every part of the world and to serve seafood in a pan all around the world.
Fish & Co. is a division of Fish & Co. Restaurants Pte Ltd. Under the umbrella of Fish & Co. Restaurants is also Oceana Seafood Pte Ltd whose main business is in procurement and distribution of fish and seafood.
Together, these business units work in synergistic integration and offers competitive advantage for the company.
Fish & Co. Restaurants is committed to operate the business effectively to ensure long term profitability, though strategic planning and strong people management philosophy.
