Apr

Aside from Filipino food, I also love Japanese cuisine as it offers a great variety of dishes and regional specialties. My favorite Japanese dishes are tonkatsu, ramen, yakisoba, miso soup and tempura.

So when I crave for Japanese food, there’s only one place on my mind, Tokyo Tokyo. Tokyo Tokyo is the #1 Japanese fast food restaurant in the Philippines. It was first established in 1985 with its first branch in Quad Carpark. After two decades, Tokyo Tokyo has become a household name with over 60 branches in Metro Manila and the highly urbanized cities in Luzon.

As Tokyo Tokyo marks another milestone in celebrating its 24th year in the industry, they give Tempura lovers more reason to love them.

April 18, 2009 – Joriben, Monch, Trixie and I attended the official launch of The BaR. The launch started around 7:30 in the evening.

The BaR was created with the young crowd who live to party and enjoy the nightlife in mind,” says Mr. Kendrick Tan of The Bar Beverage, Inc., and the brains behind the revolutionary party drink. “Made with the highest quality neutral alcohol mixed with only the finest fruit flavors, it is the drink of the future as the world turns its focus to flavored spirits as well. All you need is ice, and you get the party started.”

Also, The BaR’s official endorsers Angelica Panganiban and Jake Cuenca were there to grace the event.  It is so good that the likes of the lovely Ms. Angelica Panganiban and the dashing Mr. Jake Cuenca can’t help but rave about the product.

Apr

After chopping garlic, the smell can remain on your hands for hours… and I hate the smell of garlic… So here are some of the tips on how to remove garlic or onion smell from your hands

Use Stainless Steel

An easy way to remove these smells from hands is to soap them up and rub them along a stainless steel faucet or knife or spoons. Stainless steel is known to remove odors from hands by simply rubbing the hands on the stainless-steel under running water. There are special stainless-steel discs that are sold to remove odors. It really does work but it must be stainless steel. This has been handed down for generations.
