Cuisinera Club 's Beef and Vegetables Wraps

Ingredients:
2 T OLIVE OIL
¼ K LEAN GROUND BEEF
¼ C WHITE ONIONS, DICED
3 PCS GARLIC CLOVES, MINCED
1 PC BAY LEAF
1 TSP CUMIN
1 TSP SOY SAUCE
TO TASTE SALT
TO TASTE PEPPER
1 C TOMATOES, SEEDED AND DICED
¼ C WHITE ONIONS, DICED
1 PC GARLIC CLOVE, MINCED
2 T CILANTRO, CHOPPED
2 C LETTUCE, CUT INTO STRIPS
1/4 C GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE
2 PCS FLOUR TORTILLA

Procedure:

  • heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic and onions. Add the bay leaf and toast for a minute.
  • add the ground beef and cook until well done.
  • add the soy sauce and cumin. Season with salt and pepper.
  • remove form heat and drain.
  • mix together the tomatoes, onions, garlic and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper.
  • place the lettuce strips in the flour tortilla.
  • top with the salsa and the beef then place grated cheese on top.
  • roll the flour tortilla.
