Metro is a new concept created for the developing market of Tokyo Tokyo. This market has evolved in terms of lifestyle and taste. The concept responds to the urbanity trend of the target market.
Metro is an all day-café and Izakaya, which makes Metro different with other Japanese restaurant. An Izakaya is a type of Japanese drinking establishment which also serves food to accompany the drinks. Izayaka is like a bar where you can hang out after work. Alcoholic beverages and Yakitori are the product lines to highlight. Also, Metro’s ambience lends itself to be a relaxing place to hang out.
On the other hand, Metro is also like an all day-café where you can have your meal anytime of the day. Metro offers sumptuous yet inexpensive Japanese food.

This is one of my favorite. Meltique beef was tender and moist which I think made it more flavorful.

This is not your ordinary braised pork as it has that melt-in-your-mouth texture and taste that simply fills your mouth.
- The Colossal Metro Burger P375
Satisfy your big craving! The Metro Burger piled with all the add-ons they offer
It is really colossal! This 200g, almost a half pound, burger patty was amazing – coupled with the meat sauce, mushroom bits, slice of cheese, a fried egg, and assorted vegetables with potato wedges on the side. This burger is for those who have big appetite.
These are just some delicious dishes of the new Metro by Tokyo Tokyo offers. I’ll definitely come back for more. There’s still a lot I haven’t tried on the menu.
Bottom line is Metro Tokyo Tokyo is different with Tokyo Tokyo but it will be known for it’s new and exciting culinary discoveries that will create talking points to target market (whether you want a all day-café and Izakaya type concept).
