Asia’s first truly independent and authoritative restaurant guide, The Miele Guide, was launched in 2008 in order to celebrate Asia’s best chefs and restaurants. The 2008/2009 edition ranked Asia’s top 20 restaurants and listed another 300 fantastic places in which to dine in Asia.
Restaurants are selected for inclusion in The Miele Guide through public polling and with the help of a special jury of industry experts.

January 19, 2009, Bigby’s Café and Restaurant treats some bloggers with their scrumptious meals.
Bigby’s Café and Restaurant is Cagayan de Oro’s pride that started out in 1998. This big name in the food industry is finally in Metro Manila as it opened its 9th branch at SM Megamall Atrium last December 20, 2008.
Its beginning was in such an unusual time, when the people were just barely done coping with the Asian crisis that affected the country the previous year. Most people became inclined to eating out at food establishments offering quick meals and had shied away from treating themselves to a fine dining experience.
